The Amplify! practitioners work in a team to support young people and their whanau. This can be different for each young person.

Young people who are involved in the programme meet with the practitioners at school. They are supported to identify what they want to achieve from being involved in the programme, and what steps they need to take to get there. The Amplify! practitioners then use a combination of youth-friendly techniques, combined with approaches that have been proven by research, to support each young person to work towards their goals. This could be through individual sessions, or most commonly, through group sessions.

Sometimes young people need extra support to feel strong enough to make positive choices in their life. They will also be gaining leadership skills and skills on how to work in a group!
